Blessingway ceremonies are found in indigenous tribes of Turtle Island, most commonly in the Diné, though if we go back far enough most of our ancestors probably created ritual around such profound events as a birth. Western culture still has some forms of rite of passage, such as weddings and baby showers, but they are steeping in capitalism and most often focused on gift giving and celebration and miss the critical step of honoring the emotional, spiritual and physical transition of big life changes. Properly honoring ones life before a baby is essential to being able to step into parenthood in a fully grounded, present way.
We tailor Blessingways to suit the needs of the family we are serving, whether you are celebrating a mother, father, or the whole family, siblings too. Each ceremony is 2-3 hours and co-created with care and intention to reflect your lineage, values, and dreams for the journey ahead.
Guided meditation, poetry or songs to inspire and connect.
Personal shares from the parent/family on their journey this pregnancy.
Reflections, blessings and affirmations from attendees for the parent/family.
Belly painting, flower crown crafting, and other hands on joyous crafting.
Bead offering for a birthing altar necklace.
Candle and red thread rituals, to invite attendees to continually hold the family in their prayers.
Any additional culturally relevant practices to honor your unique lineage.
Communication, planning, set up, facilitation and gentle closure.
Recommendations for photographers if you wish to capture the event (not included in price of Blessingway)

With ancestral roots in both Native American and Irish traditions, Sage brings a deep reverence for lineage, land, and the sacred rites of passage. She weaves earth-based spirituality, embodiment practices, deep listening, song and silence to create meaningful, heart-centered ceremonies that honor the soul of each family’s journey.
Sage has over a decade of experience holding space for transformation and connection through moon ceremonies, women’s circles, self-love rituals, song circles, celtic cross quarter celebrations, and blessingways. Her work is rooted in intention, gentle presence, and a deep belief in the revolutionary power of ritual to reconnect us with ourselves, each other, and the sacred cycles of life.
These rituals are not performances, but living altars—spaces where the veil between the everyday and the sacred thins, and something ancient is remembered. Sage's work as a facilitator is not to lead from the front, but to tend the fire in the center—to create a space where love, listening, and devotion can rise up and do their quiet, transformative work.
